• Using magnetic ion exchange resin, target anion pollutants of wastewater in the reactor are adsorbed
with MIEX to remove them with concentrated water.
•The adsorbed MIEX is regenerated vy NaCl and circulated back to the reactor.
•Minimizing the loss of MIEX by using the inclined plates located on the upper part of the reactor.
•Resin beads are much smaller, providing 4-5 times of specific surface area -> smaller footprint
•Coagulant dose is reduced by 30~80% -> reduction of chemical dose and sludge volume
•Improvement of floc structural characteristics (size, strength & settling rate)
